Panel Heaters work by heating up a room through convection. The hot metal elements inside the heater warm the air, and then the heat circulates around the room. The convection heat then transfers its heat to people in the room. Panel Heaters offer fast and effective room heating and are more cost-effective than Electric Radiators. A benefit of them is that they are controllable, with a range of features.

The heaters have multiple features and can range from basic models with an on/off switch, to smart heaters which can be programmed to switch on at selected times and temperatures. The thermostat monitors the room temperature and turns the heater on or off to maintain your desired temperature for the room. You can be comfortable in any weather, and you won’t waste energy overheating the room.

If you want a higher level of heat before you sleep or for a few hours, the timer is a perfect feature for you. The timer allows you to set the heater to switch off after a period of time. Another useful feature is a remote control. You can adjust and programme your heater to your desired temperature from the comfort of your armchair. This is an ideal feature for homeowners with reduced mobility.

A second benefit of Panel Heaters is that WiFi enabled models can be controlled through your smartphone. If you want to set the temperature, you can do it by clicking a button on the app. Whilst you are on your commute home or work-shift, you can switch on your heater so you can enter an already warm, cosy living room.
