Product Overview

Our new 5 in 1 Devola Air Conditioners are powerful, efficient, and great cooling solutions for creating a comfortable atmosphere in your space. They feature high capacity in a compact size with cooling, heating, dehumidifying, and fan functions. The LED digital display includes temperature settings, and the electronic control comes with a built-in timer and sleep mode. The unit automatically shuts off when the tank is full and restarts in the event of a power outage. It also has an auto defrosting function at low ambient temperatures. The sound pressure for cooling is 54/54.5/55 dB(A) (Hi/Lo/Qi-Lo), with a maximum sound power level of 65 dB(A). The power output is 2.8 kW.

This DVAC10CHW model comes with the fifth mode of heating, allowing you to completely tailor your atmosphere to your needs. These self-contained systems do not require any permanent installation, allowing you to lift them straight out of the box and go. They also come with castors, so you can move them to the space where they are most needed. These air conditioners are great in a variety of medium-sized rooms up to 26m², including bedrooms, lounges, and offices.

The environmentally friendly R290 is used as the refrigerant. R290 has no damaging influence on the ozone layer (ODP), a negligible greenhouse effect (GWP), and is available worldwide. Because of its efficient energy properties, R290 is highly suitable as a coolant for this application.

2 FREE WINDOW KITS INCLUDED: All Devola air conditioners come with 1.8 m duct, a flexible window kit suitable for sash windows, secondary window kit suitable for all types of windows (40cm wide x 300 cm long)

WIFI ENABLED: This unit can be controlled wirelessly using your phone or tablet with the Tuya Smart app or Amazon Alexa. Simply turn the unit on or off and set timers for your desired room conditions.

SLEEP MODE: Using a quieter speed in cooling mode, this sophisticated air conditioner will gradually shut itself down hour by hour meaning you will get an undisturbed sleep and no usage will be wasted in your bedroom.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL: Being a 4 in 1 air conditioner it offers cooling, fan-only mode, dehumidifying, sleep mode, to be able to provide your space with exactly what you need to make it more comfortable.

LOW MAINTENANCE: This self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the condenser coils for a much better efficient performance. The condensed water evaporates and is released through the exhaust hose as water vapour.

IDEAL TEMPERATURE: With an adjustable thermostat of 16-32℃, you can set the unit to keep your space within your ideal temperature to provide full comfort in your bedroom, office, lounge or wherever is needed.

Will I need to duct this unit outside?

Yes, portable air conditioners require ducting outside. This is done through a hose, which is typically placed through a window. A window kit is then used to seal and gaps. Often these accessories are included, but always check the product details to see what kind of installation kit is included.

Do portable air conditioners dehumidify as well?

Portable air conditioners naturally remove moisture form the air however some have a special dehumidifying function. This means it can extract the moisture without the cooling function.

Can you use a portable air conditioner all year round?

Can I lengthen the exhaust hose?

All air conditioners come with a flexible hose that can be extended. Extending the hose beyond it’s limits (ie. adding another hose) may compromise the cooling availability of the unit. Please contact us if you need any more details.

Are portable air conditioners energy efficient?

Yes, the models we sell have been chosen for their energy efficiency. For example this Meaco 8000BTU unit will cost around 30.9p per hour, or this Devola 10000BTU will cost you around 33.4p per hour (these prices are based on the April 2024 price cap).

Can I install a portable air conditioner myself?

Yes, portable air conditioners are the only air conditioning systems that require no installation and work straight out of the box. The only requirement is to plug the unit in and vent it outside with a window kit (make sure to check whether this is included with the unit). Other air conditioners such as wall split systems can only be installed by an F-Gas certified engineer.
