Product Overview

The Meaco MEA20L is a high capacity compressor dehumidifier suitable for large homes. Extracting up to 20 litres of moisture per day, this unit is a valuable tool in combating condensation, mould, and other problems arising from excess humidity.

Equipped with an integral anti-bacterial filter, Meaco's powerful model also cleans the air, removing pollutants, spores, and other allergens, resulting in a healthier environment for you and your family.

Operating at a low 335W, the MEA20L is extremely efficient to run, particularly when compared to other models in its class, and its 'Meaco Control Logic' feature only enhances this, allowing the unit to power down when a designated degree of humidity is reached. It will then sample the air at 30 minute intervals, so that the atmosphere's desired moisture level is maintained. On average, the dehumidifier will only be running for 10 minutes every hour.

Fitted castors and carry handles ensure the unit can be moved about the home with ease.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a high pitched noise coming from my Compressor Dehumidifier?

This noise is present in Compressor Dehumidifiers with R290 refrigerant where the internal fan is not loud enough to cover the noise. The pitch of the compressor changes as the temperature inside the machine rises similar to starting a car in winter is louder and then gradually returns to a normal pitch as the engine warms up. In most cases, the high pitched noise will go away after an hour.
