Midea DE 12L Portable Dehumidifier - MDDN2-12DEN7
This Midea 12l compact dehumidifier is effective in extracting excess water from the air, helping to tackle mould, odours and mildew.
It is quiet in operation at 45dB, providing comfortable conditions even during the night.
With its auto defrosting function, the unit can prevent the evaporator from freezing and continue dehumidifying in low temperature environments. There is a water level indicator located on the front of the unit for visibility of the fill level. When the water tank is full, the unit will immediately cease operation, ensuring no overflow from the tank.
If the unit shuts off unexpectedly, for instance during a power cut, it will automatically resume once it regains power. For additionally convenience, the dehumidifier has a carry handle for easy portability.

Why is a high pitched noise coming from my Compressor Dehumidifier?
This noise is present in Compressor Dehumidifiers with R290 refrigerant where the internal fan is not loud enough to cover the noise. The pitch of the compressor changes as the temperature inside the machine rises similar to starting a car in winter is louder and then gradually returns to a normal pitch as the engine warms up. In most cases, the high pitched noise will go away after an hour.
