Product Overview

This model is part of the Lo-Carbon Tempra range by Vent‑Axia, designed as a through-the-wall heat recovery unit that fits into a standard 100 mm diameter hole—making it ideal for retrofit applications in bathrooms, kitchens, toilets or utility rooms. It is the “Longer Cell” (LHTP) version, meaning it accommodates thicker wall sections (between 321 mm and 460 mm) thanks to its extended cell and installation depth options.

In terms of functionality, the 403837 model offers a combination of humidistat, timer and pull-cord control, allowing the fan to run on a baseline continuous trickle and then boost when higher extraction is required (e.g., when humidity rises or the pull-cord is activated). Its heat recovery performance is up to around 78% efficiency, helping capture and reuse warmth from extracted air so that incoming fresh air is pre‐warmed, reducing heat loss and energy consumption.

From the installation and performance side, it is IPX4 rated (suitable for wet areas) and draws as little as ~3.2 W on its trickle setting. The continuous mode trickle is typically around 6 l/s (≈21.6 m³/h) with a higher trickle of 9 l/s and a boost mode up to 15 l/s (≈54 m³/h) depending on settings and installation.
