In terms of design and operation, the CALMBLACK150S is finished in sleek black for a more contemporary or designer look. It includes a built-in pull-cord switch for manual activation, meaning you pull the cord to start the fan and pull again to stop it (there is no timer or humidity sensor function in this “S” version). The unit is built with attention to quiet operation — designed noise level is around 33 dB(A) thanks to anti-vibration mounts and German-engineered motor.
From an installation and safety standpoint, it carries an IP45 rating, making it suitable for bathroom Zone 1 and Zone 2 installation when wired correctly and connected to an RCD.
