Product Overview

The SCF200TN is an in-line centrifugal extractor fan kit designed for bathrooms, en-suites, utility rooms or long duct runs. It’s built with a 100 mm (4") spigot and a backward-curved impeller, which means it’s engineered to move a good volume of air even through longer lengths of ducting. With an extraction capacity of around 110 m³/h (31 L/s) it’s capable of handling ventilation needs while remaining relatively quiet.

One of its standout features is a built-in adjustable over-run timer: once the light or switched live is turned off, the fan continues to run for a preset interval (typically 1-20 minutes) to clear remaining moisture or stale air. This ensures better air quality and helps reduce mould or condensation concerns. The fan also includes a non-return back-draught flap to prevent outside air or cold draughts from entering when it’s off.

From a build perspective, the unit is constructed using high-impact ABS thermoplastic for durability and ease of cleaning, and is powered by a single phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings for maintenance-free life. It is also compliant with UK ventilation regulations for domestic bathrooms (Ventilation F1) and is suitable for mounting in ceilings or loft/void spaces out of the way.
