Megger TPT420 1000V 2-Pole Voltage Tester - 1013-189
The Megger TPT420 is a voltage tester that is designed for ease of use by electrcians. It works by warning the operator of dangerous test voltages (even when the batteries are exhausted). It provides both an AC and DC voltage measurement, from 12V to 1000AC and up to 1500V DC. Additionally, for added safety a continuity function within the range of 0 to 500kΩ is included and voltage measurements are also accompanied by an acoustic sounder.
There is an integrated bright LED torch, for low light conditions. The TPT420 can also perform a single pole voltage indication test. It is rated at CAT IV 1000 V with an IP64 housing and conforms to the latest IEC/EN 61243-3 and DIN VDE 0682-401 standards.
