Product Overview

The ACM100 from Vent‑Axia is a 100 mm (4″) in-line mixed-flow extractor designed for ducted ventilation installations. It uses a mixed-flow impeller, which gives it around two and a half times the pressure of a conventional axial fan, making it well-suited for longer duct runs or installations where duct resistance is higher.

In terms of specifications, the fan delivers roughly 52-71 litres per second (≈187-255 m³/hour) on its selectable three speeds, while maintaining a low noise level of about 16-22 dB(A) at 3m. It draws a modest power of about 20-23 W and is rated IP44, meaning it is suitable for many internal applications including bathrooms and ceiling voids.

Installation-wise, the ACM100 is built with flexibility in mind: the motor core is removable for maintenance, the chassis can rotate to allow connection in tight or awkward spaces, and it supports both horizontal and vertical orientation. Its compact dimensions (for an in-line fan of its capability) and its wipe-clean polymer casing add practicality for domestic and light commercial use.
