Product Overview

This kit integrates a fan and LED light in one ceiling-mounted unit, designed specifically for bathroom or shower areas. The light uses a 3 W MR16 LED (12 V DC) to cast a soft, warm glow over the shower space, while the fan extracts moisture and humidity at source to reduce condensation and improve air quality.

One of its standout features is its IPX7 rating and SELV (safety extra low voltage) design, meaning it is safe for installation directly over a shower or within reach of bathing areas. The included transformer (conforming to BS EN 60742) can be mounted separately—either on a wall or in a loft space—helping with flexible installation in ceilings of various thicknesses.

Performance-wise, the fan moves air at 31 L/s (≈110 m³/h) with a noise output of around 35 dB(A) measured at 3 m, making it reasonably quiet for everyday use. This version is the “standard” (i.e. non-timer) model, so it operates simultaneously with the light switch rather than having a delayed run-on time.
