Product Overview

The Lo-Carbon Centra HT is a 100 mm (4″) extractor fan designed for continuous running applications in bathrooms, toilets, utility rooms or kitchens. It’s part of the Vent Axia Lo-Carbon range, and includes both a built-in humidistat and adjustable overrun timer (5–30 minutes) which means the fan can run at a low trickle speed continuously, then automatically boost extraction when humidity rises or when a switched live trigger is detected. 

Energy efficiency and quiet operation are key features. At full boost the fan extracts up to 54 m³/h (15 L/s) while consuming only around 2.4 W, and noise level is just 25.2 dB(A). At trickle speeds the consumption can drop to as little as 1.4 W and noise down to ~10.8 dB(A). The Lo-Carbon motor is designed for long life and low power draw, making it compliant with current building regulations (e.g., Part F & L) for continuous mechanical extract ventilation (dMEV) systems.

Installation-wise, the fan is mounting-flexible (wall, ceiling, panel or window) and rated to IPX4 which makes it suitable for bathroom zones where splash protection is required. The unit’s dimensions are approximately 160 × 160 × 150-168 mm with a 100 mm spigot diameter.
