Product Overview

This is a 100 mm (4″) axial extractor fan designed specifically for bathrooms, toilets and other domestic wet-rooms. The fan features a ultra-slim grille profile of just 17 mm which allows it to sit nearly flush with the wall surface for a discreet installation. It is manufactured by Vent Axia under their “Lo-Carbon Silhouette” range and is intended to help meet current UK building regulations for bathroom ventilation (Approved Documents F & L).

Performance-wise, the fan offers two selectable speeds (chosen at installation) delivering up to approximately 108 m³/h (≈30 l/s) at high speed, and around 60 m³/h (≈17 l/s) at the lower speed. At the high speed it consumes about 8.7 W and emits around 38 dB(A) at 3 m; at the low speed about 3.4 W and 34 dB(A). It features a built-in back-draught shutter to prevent reverse airflow and a blue/“neon” power indicator light (on this “B” model) so you can see when it’s powered up.

Installation is flexible: the fan is rated to IPX4, making it suitable for bathroom zones outside direct water jets, and can be mounted on walls, ceilings, panels or even windows. Its ball-bearing motor supports vertical or horizontal duct runs and it comes with a five-year motor guarantee, reflecting its durability in a domestic setting.
