Product Overview

The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Solo Plus range is designed for through-the-wall and ducted applications, making it ideal for internal bathrooms, toilets, and other small rooms. Finished in white, the fan can be flush or surface mounted and includes a two-position 100mm circular spigot for rear entry or vertical duct connection. Its powerful centrifugal impeller enables efficient performance through 100mm ducting in straight runs, achieving the 15 l/s airflow required by Building Regulations Approved Document F.

As a continuous running system, the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus is suitable for use in all wet areas of a dwelling, classifying it as part of a whole-house ventilation system. This means it only needs to move the air volumes specified in Tables 5.1a and 5.1b of Building Regulations F, ensuring compliance while maintaining quiet and efficient operation. The adjustable boost speed, set during installation, can be tailored for wall or duct configurations to provide optimal ventilation with minimal energy consumption and low noise levels.

Each model in the range offers an optional constant trickle ventilation mode (12 l/s), selectable during installation. Depending on the version, the fan switches from trickle (if enabled) to boost via a pullcord, light switch, humidity sensor, or PIR control. The units can be wall, panel, or ceiling mounted and are compatible with circular, rectangular, or Vent-Axia flat ducting. For added safety and durability, all electrical components are housed in a flame-retardant enclosure.
