Product Overview

VA140/150 extractor fan is designed with a 150 mm (6″) spigot diameter, making it suitable for domestic kitchen ventilation systems. It achieves an extraction rate of around 245 m³/hour (≈ 68 L/s) and a sound level of approximately 36 dB(A) at 3 metres.

One of the standout features is the integrated pull-cord switch, allowing users to manually switch the unit on and off without the need for remote controllers or timers. The fan also includes thermoelectric shutters to prevent back-draught when the fan is not operating, and it meets the UK building regulation requirement for domestic kitchen extract ventilation (Approved Document F).

From an installation perspective, the unit is rated IP44 (making it suitable for kitchen/utility environments), and it supports wall, ceiling, panel or window mounting, giving flexibility depending on the building layout. Its compact fascia (approx. 216 × 224 × 60 mm) ensures it can fit into many existing openings or ducts with minimal alteration.
