Product Overview

This compact 100 mm (4″) axial extractor fan from Xpelair is designed for domestic bathroom, shower and toilet spaces. It comes complete with a wall or window mounting kit (including telescopic wall tube, gaskets, outer grille and window skirt) and supports wall, ceiling or window mounting (for single glazing up to 6 mm).

The key feature is its built-in humidistat and timer: the fan will automatically switch on when the relative humidity in the room rises above a preset level (adjustable between approximately 50–90 % RH), or when triggered via an external switch (e.g., the light). It will then stay on until humidity falls back and for an additional adjustable over-run period (2–30 minutes), helping ensure effective ventilation.

From a performance and compliance perspective, it delivers around 23 l/s (~76 m³/h) airflow, is rated to IPX5 for bathroom zone installation, consumes about 12 W, and includes a lubricated-for-life motor with thermal cut-out protection — making it a solid choice for regulated installations needing automatic humidity control.
