The Blauberg CALMBLACK100IR is a 100 mm (4″) wall- or ceiling-mounted extractor fan designed for modern bathrooms, en-suites or toilets. It features a sleek matte black finish that complements contemporary interiors, while the mixed-flow impeller and anti-vibration mounts keep the operation whisper-quiet (around 25 dB(A)).
Equipped with a PIR motion sensor, this fan automatically turns on when movement is detected, making it a hands-free ventilation solution. This smart activation is paired with a run-on timer, so the fan continues extracting for a preset period even after you leave, helping clear lingering steam and moisture.
On performance, the unit delivers an airflow of 97 m³/h (≈ 27 l/s) via a standard 100 mm duct, and includes a backdraft shutter to prevent reverse airflow. Its IP45 rating ensures safe operation in bathroom Zones 1 & 2 when correctly wired, and its A+ energy efficiency, low power draw (≈7.5 W), and five-year warranty make it a reliable, energy-conscious choice.
