Dimplex Over Door Heater 6kW Air Curtain White - AC6W
The Dimplex AC6W 6kW Over Door Heater is designed for installation above double doorways in busy commercial environments such as retail stores, offices, and public buildings. By producing a powerful curtain of warm air, it helps maintain comfortable internal temperatures while doors remain open, reducing heat loss and supporting high footfall entrances.
With a high air velocity of 8.3m/s, the AC6W delivers strong directional airflow that effectively limits cold air ingress across wider entrances. This makes it ideal for larger door openings where maintaining thermal separation is critical. Despite its higher output, the unit remains suitable for customer-facing areas, operating at 57.0dB(A).
Once commissioned via the Dimplex ConfigR App, the heater offers advanced control features including precise temperature adjustment between 7–32°C, a seven-day programmable timer, and boost and advance functions. For day-to-day use, onboard rocker switches provide quick access to fan-only, half-heat, and full-heat modes. Built with a durable powder-coated steel fascia, EnduroTech motor technology, and integrated thermal protection, the AC6W is engineered for reliable, long-term commercial performance.
