The Dimplex AC3W 3kW Over Door Heater is designed to maintain comfort in shops, offices, and small commercial spaces where doors are frequently opened. Installed neatly above a single doorway, it delivers a powerful curtain of warm air that helps reduce heat loss, stabilise indoor temperatures, and keep entrances welcoming without compromising energy efficiency.
With an air velocity of 6.2m/s, the AC3W creates an effective thermal barrier that limits cold air ingress while supporting open-door trading. Despite its strong airflow, the unit operates at a controlled 50.5dB(A), making it suitable for customer-facing environments where noise levels matter.
Control is flexible and future-ready. Once commissioned via the Dimplex ConfigR App, users can access precise temperature control between 7–32°C, a seven-day programmable timer, and energy-saving boost and advance functions. For everyday use, onboard rocker switches allow quick selection between fan-only, half-heat, and full-heat modes. Built with a durable steel fascia, EnduroTech motor technology, and integrated safety cut-outs, the AC3W is engineered for reliable commercial performance day after day.
