Product Overview

This fan is part of the commercial wall/ceiling mounted range from Manrose, designed for robust applications. It’s sized at 150 mm (6″) and is built to be surface-mounted on walls or ceilings, making it suitable for ducted commercial ventilation systems. The slimline profile is just 66 mm deep for this model, giving it a neat installation footprint.

One of the standout features is the manual pull-cord operation of internal shutters housed behind a protective louvre. This design helps guard the shutters from vandalism and ensures they’re hidden from direct tampering, which is useful in public or commercial environments. The extraction capacity is listed at 278 m³/h (77 litres/sec) for this 150mm model, with a sound level of around 40 dB(A).

For durability, the unit is constructed from high-impact ABS thermoplastic (recyclable) and employs a shaded pole motor with ball bearings in the 150mm model for long life and maintenance-free operation. The motor is double-insulated so no earth connection is required, but wiring must still comply with current IEE regulations including a double-pole isolating switch with 3mm separation and 3 A fuse. Maximum ambient operating temperature is 40 °C.
