Product Overview
The Blauberg CALM Design 100 mm fan is a high-performance extractor designed specifically for bathrooms, wet rooms or kitchens with a 100 mm (4-inch) duct connection. It delivers an extract airflow rate of around 90 m³/hour (≈ 25 l/s). It is built to tackle moisture, condensation and stale air effectively, helping maintain healthy indoor air quality.
One of the standout features of this fan is its very quiet operation and smart design. Thanks to German-engineered anti-vibration mounts, noise levels are as low as ~26 dB(A) when fitted correctly. It also includes an anti-backdraft shutter, preventing unwanted airflow from entering the room when the fan is not operating.
From an installation and compliance perspective, the CALM Design fan offers great flexibility. It has an A+ energy efficiency rating, is suitable for mounting in bathroom Zones 1 or 2 (with the correct IP protection) and comes with a 5-year warranty. The pull-cord version in particular is straightforward to wire (live/neutral) making it an appealing option where a light-switch activation is preferred.
