Product Overview

This model is part of the “Calm” series by Blauberg and features a 150 mm (6″) duct connection, with an impressive free‐air extraction rate of up to around 318 m³/h (≈ 88 l/s) as specified for the 150 mm range. It uses a mixed‐flow impeller design, allowing effective performance even with longer duct runs, and includes a built‐in anti‐backdraft shutter to prevent unwanted air ingress when the fan is off.

What sets this “H” version apart is the built‐in humidity sensor (“H” = Humidity) which means the fan will automatically activate or ramp up as humidity levels rise above a preset threshold (such as after a shower) and then run on for a set time. This helps manage condensation, damp and mould more proactively than a basic on/off fan. The unit is engineered to operate quietly — around 33 dB(A) — thanks to anti-vibration mounts and German-engineered motor design.

From an installation and compliance standpoint, this model carries an IP45 rating, making it suitable for installation in bathroom Zones 1 & 2 when wired appropriately (e.g., fixed wiring and RCD protection). It comes energy-rated A+ and is backed by a 5-year motor warranty, underlining the build quality. As always with the “H” variant, ensure the humidity sensor wiring is configured correctly during installation for optimal automatic control.
