Product Overview
This model is part of the “Calm” series from Blauberg and features a 150 mm (6″) duct connection with an impressive airflow of up to around 318 m³/h (≈ 88 l/s). It uses a mixed-flow impeller design which allows good performance even with longer duct runs, and includes an anti-back-draft shutter to reduce unwanted airflow when the fan is off.
In terms of control and usability, the “S” variant denotes the pull-cord version: the fan is manually activated via a built-in cord, and then switched off via the same cord. It doesn’t include extra features like timers or humidity sensors (those appear in “T” or “H” variants). The design also emphasises quiet operation — around 33 dB(A) — thanks to anti-vibration mounts and a German-engineered motor.
From an installation and safety perspective, this fan is rated IP45, meaning it is suitable for installation in bathroom Zones 1 & 2 when wired correctly (i.e., fixed wiring and RCD protection as required). It carries an A+ energy efficiency rating and is backed by a five-year motor warranty, making it a solid choice for larger bathroom or utility room ventilation.
