This model features a 150 mm (6″) duct connection, delivering high airflow (up to around 318 m³/h, equivalent to ~88 l/s) thanks to its mixed-flow impeller design, which supports longer duct runs and good extraction performance. Designed with low noise in mind, the unit operates at approximately 33 dB(A) in typical use, aided by anti-vibration mounts and German-engineered build quality.
In terms of installation and suitability, the CALM150 carries an IP45 rating, making it safe for installation in bathroom Zones 1 and 2 when wired correctly (with residual-current device / RCD protection as required). It also includes an anti-back-draft shutter to prevent unwanted airflow when the fan is off, adding efficiency and comfort.
As the “standard” version, the CALM150 does not include built-in timer, humidity sensor or pull-cord control; it is designed for basic on/off operation via a separate switch. The unit is energy rated A+ (so efficient in use) and backed by a 5-year motor warranty—making it a strong choice for larger bathrooms or utility rooms where a simple but high-performance fan is needed.
