Product Overview

This fan is specifically designed for ducted ventilation systems using a 125 mm (5″) diameter duct. It uses a mixed-flow impeller design which combines aspects of axial and centrifugal airflow to deliver higher extraction rates—in this model up to about 345 m³/h (≈ 96 l/s) in standard form. The casing is made of low-flammability polypropylene and it features German ball bearing motor construction, which speaks to durability and reliability.

One of its strengths is quiet operation and suitability for medium sized spaces (for example bathrooms, kitchens or other areas with moderate duct length). The mixed-flow technology improves pressure performance and helps maintain airflow even when the duct run has bends or moderate length, while built-in air-straightening guides help reduce noise. The fan is also rated IP X4, making it suitable for installation in humid or wet spaces (e.g., bathrooms).

Finally, installation is straightforward for a duct-mounted inline fan; the 125 mm size is a common standard making it easier to match with existing ducting. Some variants of the model also include a run-on timer (2–30 minutes) so the fan can continue extracting after the light switch is turned off—useful for removing residual moisture or odours. Its versatility means it works both for extract and supply ventilation and is suited to residential or light commercial setups.
