The MeacoCool Pro Series MC10000CHRPRO brings you powerful cooling and heating performance in one smart, portable unit. With support for the Meaco App, you can remotely control the temperature of your home or office, switching between modes from your phone — whether you’re heading home from work or getting ready for bed. With a cooling capacity of 10,000 BTU and a heating capacity of 8,500 BTU, this model is ideal for rooms up to 28m² and helps you stay comfortable year-round.
Efficient performance across five operating modes
With an A energy rating, the MC10000CHRPRO delivers efficient operation whether you’re cooling, heating, dehumidifying, or simply circulating air. It features five operating modes — Cooling, Heating, Fan, Dry, and Sleep — and has a power consumption of just 1120 watts in cooling mode (999 watts in heating), costing around 30p per hour to run. A Child Lock adds peace of mind for families, and the unit also removes 1.4 litres of moisture per hour to help control humidity. Noise levels range from 53 to 55 decibels, depending on the mode used.
Smart scheduling with 24-hour timer and sleep mode
Set your air conditioner to match your routine using the 1–24 hour timer, whether you’re preparing a room for sleep or heating your space before waking up. The Sleep Mode reduces fan speed and dims the display lights for minimal disruption during the night. You can also manage all settings and modes from your smartphone using the Meaco App.
Built for practicality and peace of mind
Mounted on castors and weighing 24.5kg, the MC10000CHRPRO is easy to move between rooms. A remote control is included for convenient in-room adjustments, and the unit is backed by a 3-year warranty for long-term peace of mind.
Includes two window kits for simple setup
The MC10000CHRPRO comes with both a standard window kit (combined length of 170 cm, ideal for sash windows) and a flexible window kit (up to 39 cm wide, 4 m long) to help block warm air from entering and keep your climate consistent. Even when used with sliding doors or large openings, the included kits make setup fast and hassle-free without needing additional purchases.

Will I need to duct this unit outside?
Yes, portable air conditioners require ducting outside. This is done through a hose, which is typically placed through a window. A window kit is then used to seal and gaps. Often these accessories are included, but always check the product details to see what kind of installation kit is included.
Do portable air conditioners dehumidify as well?
Portable air conditioners naturally remove moisture form the air however some have a special dehumidifying function. This means it can extract the moisture without the cooling function.
Can you use a portable air conditioner all year round?

Can I lengthen the exhaust hose?
All air conditioners come with a flexible hose that can be extended. Extending the hose beyond it’s limits (ie. adding another hose) may compromise the cooling availability of the unit. Please contact us if you need any more details.
Are portable air conditioners energy efficient?
Yes, the models we sell have been chosen for their energy efficiency. For example this Meaco 8000BTU unit will cost around 30.9p per hour, or this Devola 10000BTU will cost you around 33.4p per hour (these prices are based on the April 2024 price cap).
Can I install a portable air conditioner myself?
Yes, portable air conditioners are the only air conditioning systems that require no installation and work straight out of the box. The only requirement is to plug the unit in and vent it outside with a window kit (make sure to check whether this is included with the unit). Other air conditioners such as wall split systems can only be installed by an F-Gas certified engineer.
