With an impressive 9000 BTU cooling capacity, this unit delivers powerful performance while maintaining an A energy rating and a low running cost of just 27p per hour (based on 27.03p/kWh).

4 versatile modes for tailored comfort

The MC9000RPRO offers four dedicated modes—Cooling, Fan, Dry, and Sleep—to suit your environment throughout the day and night. Whether you need to beat the heat, circulate fresh air, reduce humidity, or maintain quiet overnight cooling, this air conditioner adapts to your needs. It also removes up to 1.2 litres of moisture per hour, helping to reduce humidity and keep your space comfortable. Designed for rooms between 16–26 m², it’s perfect for use in bedrooms, lounges, or offices. And thanks to its low noise level of just 52 dB on low fan speed, it delivers powerful airflow without disruption.

Smart scheduling and sleep-friendly operation

Use the 1–24 hour on/off timer to pre-cool your room before use, or control the unit remotely via the Meaco App for hands-free convenience. Sleep Mode automatically lowers the fan speed, dims the display lights, and reduces operational noise—ideal for undisturbed rest during warmer nights.

Compact and convenient for everyday use

With castors and a slim design, the MC9000RPRO moves easily between rooms. It includes an intuitive remote control for effortless operation and weighs just 23.5 kg, making it manageable and versatile. With a solid 3-year warranty, you can enjoy reliable performance year after year.

Two window kits included for flexible installation

The MC9000RPRO comes with both a standard window kit (total 170 cm) for sash windows and a flexible window kit (up to 4 m long, 39 cm wide) for a wide range of window types. Both options help seal off the room from warm external air, improving cooling efficiency. If using the standard kit with sliding doors, a small gap at the top may remain, though this won’t significantly affect performance.

How do I know which BTU is right for me?

Will I need to duct this unit outside?

Yes, portable air conditioners require ducting outside. This is done through a hose, which is typically placed through a window. A window kit is then used to seal and gaps. Often these accessories are included, but always check the product details to see what kind of installation kit is included.

Do portable air conditioners dehumidify as well?

Portable air conditioners naturally remove moisture form the air however some have a special dehumidifying function. This means it can extract the moisture without the cooling function.

Can you use a portable air conditioner all year round?

Portable air conditioners are very versatile. They can be used as dehumidifiers, fans, and some models can even heat your room! Click here to see all units with a heating function.

Can I lengthen the exhaust hose?

All air conditioners come with a flexible hose that can be extended. Extending the hose beyond it’s limits (ie. adding another hose) may compromise the cooling availability of the unit. Please contact us if you need any more details.

Are portable air conditioners energy efficient?

Yes, the models we sell have been chosen for their energy efficiency. For example this Meaco 8000BTU unit will cost around 30.9p per hour, or this Devola 10000BTU will cost you around 33.4p per hour (these prices are based on the April 2024 price cap).

Can I install a portable air conditioner myself?

Yes, portable air conditioners are the only air conditioning systems that require no installation and work straight out of the box. The only requirement is to plug the unit in and vent it outside with a window kit (make sure to check whether this is included with the unit). Other air conditioners such as wall split systems can only be installed by an F-Gas certified engineer.
