Product Overview

The Eclipse 100X is a compact and reliable axial extractor fan designed for use in bathrooms, toilets or small utility rooms. It connects to a standard 100 mm (4″) duct and offers a single-speed operation to maintain consistent air extraction. The unit is rated at IP44 for splash protection when mounted in zones 1 or 2, making it suitable for typical domestic wet-room environments.

One of the key features of this model is the integral back-draught shutter, which prevents unwanted airflow entering from outside when the fan is off. This helps maintain indoor comfort and stops cold air or drafts from infiltrating the room through the duct. The sleek, round white fascia offers a clean, unobtrusive appearance that fits well with most bathroom or kitchen decors.

In performance terms the Eclipse 100X delivers around 25 litres per second (≈ 90 m³/h) under free-air conditions, drawing about 14–15 W of power and operating at noise levels around 38 dB(A) at 3 metres. It supports wall or ceiling mounting and is designed to satisfy the basic domestic ventilation requirements as set out in Approved Document F.
