Product Overview

The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Solo Plus range is purpose-built for both through-the-wall and ducted installations, making it ideal for internal bathrooms, toilets, and other small rooms. This specific model includes a convenient pullcord control for manual operation. Finished in white, the fan can be flush or surface mounted, and features a two-position 100mm circular spigot that allows for either rear entry or connection to vertical ducting systems. Its powerful centrifugal impeller enables efficient airflow through 100mm ducting in straight runs, achieving the 15 l/s extraction rate required by Building Regulations Approved Document F.

Designed for continuous running, the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus functions as part of a whole-house ventilation system when installed in wet areas throughout a dwelling. This means it only needs to move the amount of air specified in tables 5.1a and 5.1b of Building Regulations Approved Document F, ensuring compliance while maintaining energy efficiency. Its adjustable boost speed, set during installation, can be tuned for wall or duct setups to deliver effective ventilation with minimal energy use and low sound levels.

All models in the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus range feature an optional constant trickle ventilation mode (12 l/s), selectable at installation. The fans are designed for flexible installation—wall, panel, or ceiling mounting—and are compatible with circular, rectangular, or Vent-Axia flat ducting. For added safety, all electrical components are housed in an enclosure made from flame-retardant material, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
