Product Overview

The Tempra 443310 is a single-room through-the-wall heat recovery fan designed for retrofit into existing 100 mm (4″) wall penetrations. It fits in the same diameter hole as a standard extractor fan, making it ideal for upgrading bathrooms, kitchens, toilets or utility spaces without the need for major structural work. The unit is rated IPX4, ensuring suitability in moisture-prone environments like bathrooms.

In operation, the Tempra T offers continuous trickle ventilation modes of either 6 l/s or 9 l/s, with a boost mode up to 15 l/s for intermittent extraction when high demand (e.g. showering) occurs. It features a built-in overrun timer (adjustable) that keeps the unit running after the triggering event (e.g. light switch) to clear residual humidity. The heat recovery core of the unit can reclaim up to ~78% of the thermal energy from the extracted air and use it to warm incoming fresh air, reducing heat loss and improving energy efficiency.

From an installation and user perspective, the Tempra T includes a manual “summer setting” which can be engaged to disable the heat recovery intake shutter, effectively placing the unit into extract-only mode during hot periods. It operates with very low power consumption (trickle power as low as ~3.2 W) and is engineered for quiet operation (e.g. ~20 dB in trickle mode) to minimise disturbance. The unit is offered in spigot lengths suitable for typical wall depths (e.g. 320 mm) with options for deeper walls where required
