Product Overview

This model from the Lo-Carbon Silent range is engineered for near-silent performance, operating from as low as 12 dB(A) even at 3 metres, making it ideal for bathrooms, toilets or utility areas where quiet ventilation is desired. It features a 100 mm (4″) duct size and a high-efficiency motor rated for up to 40,000 hours of operation, helping to ensure long term reliability.

The “TC” code in the model reflects its Timer + Continuous running functionality. This fan operates continuously at a low trickle rate (user-adjustable at installation) and is equipped with an overrun timer (fixed ~15 minutes) for boost mode when higher extraction is required. Speed and airflow can be set at installation, giving flexibility to tailor performance to the installation’s duct length or room layout.

From an installation standpoint, the VASF100TC is IP X5 rated (suitable for Bathroom Zone 1), includes a built-in back-draught shutter to prevent unwanted airflow when off, and offers versatile mounting options on a wall, ceiling, window or panel. With its up to 5-year warranty, it represents a robust choice for residential ventilation where quiet, continuous extraction is a priority.
