Product Overview

The CALM100S from the “Calm” range by Blauberg is designed for bathroom or wet-room ventilation with a straightforward, no-frills control mode (on/off via light switch or pull cord). It accepts a 100 mm duct size (4″), and its mixed-flow impeller gives a maximum airflow of approximately 97 m³/h (27 l/s) — effective for clearing out moisture and stale air in a typical bathroom.

One of the standout features is how quietly it runs: thanks to German-engineered anti-vibration motor mounts, the noise level is around 25 dB(A) when installed correctly, making it a good choice if you want ventilation that doesn’t draw attention. The unit also includes an anti-back-draught shutter, and is rated IP45, meaning it can be installed in bathroom Zones 1 & 2 when wired via an RCD. 

In terms of efficiency and compliance, the CALM100S carries an A+ energy-rating, is compliant with UK Building Regulations Part F & L (for ventilation and energy), and comes backed by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty — giving confidence in both longevity and regulation-compliance.
