Powerful cooling for rooms up to 22m²
Delivering 7000 BTU of cooling power, the MeacoCool MC7000RPRO is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and home offices sized between 12–22m². It features four versatile modes: Cool, Fan, Dry, and Sleep—making it suitable for all-day comfort and overnight use. The Sleep Mode reduces fan speed, dims the display, and lowers the noise to 51 dB. The included 1–24 hour timer allows you to pre-cool your room before use, especially useful for bedtime or during a heatwave.
Smart features and a 3-year warranty
Easy to move thanks to integrated castors and simple to operate with the included remote control, the MC7000RPRO makes daily use effortless. A child lock provides extra peace of mind around little ones, and the unit also supports app-based control via Wi-Fi. Backed by a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, it’s built for both performance and peace of mind. The air conditioner also removes up to 0.8 litres of moisture per hour, helping to reduce humidity and improve overall comfort on sticky summer days.
Flexible window kit options included
To make setup simple, the MC7000RPRO comes with two window kits: a standard kit for sash or sliding windows and a flexible kit suitable for most other window types. The standard kit includes three plates (65 cm, 65 cm, and 51 cm) totalling 170 cm in length, while the flexible kit can stretch up to 4 metres long and accommodate window widths of up to 39 cm. Both help to efficiently expel warm air outside while sealing cool air inside, ensuring maximum performance from your air conditioner—no need to buy extra accessories.

Will I need to duct this unit outside?
Yes, portable air conditioners require ducting outside. This is done through a hose, which is typically placed through a window. A window kit is then used to seal and gaps. Often these accessories are included, but always check the product details to see what kind of installation kit is included.
Do portable air conditioners dehumidify as well?
Portable air conditioners naturally remove moisture form the air however some have a special dehumidifying function. This means it can extract the moisture without the cooling function.
Can you use a portable air conditioner all year round?

Can I lengthen the exhaust hose?
All air conditioners come with a flexible hose that can be extended. Extending the hose beyond it’s limits (ie. adding another hose) may compromise the cooling availability of the unit. Please contact us if you need any more details.
Are portable air conditioners energy efficient?
Yes, the models we sell have been chosen for their energy efficiency. For example this Meaco 8000BTU unit will cost around 30.9p per hour, or this Devola 10000BTU will cost you around 33.4p per hour (these prices are based on the April 2024 price cap).
Can I install a portable air conditioner myself?
Yes, portable air conditioners are the only air conditioning systems that require no installation and work straight out of the box. The only requirement is to plug the unit in and vent it outside with a window kit (make sure to check whether this is included with the unit). Other air conditioners such as wall split systems can only be installed by an F-Gas certified engineer.
